Are you an Empath?

Hello Love!

It’s time to talk about our connection. If you’re here, and I’m soooo glad that you are, you must connect with me on some level, YAY! 😀Are we kindred spirits, soulmates, SiStars or do you just dig the wacky stuff I throw out there? 🤷🏼‍♀️

My interpretations of such:

Kindred Spirit: We share the same interests on such a super cool level. 💜

Soulmate: We share the same interests and feel really, really connected, like we’ve always known each other.💜💜

SiStar:  We connect with each other like a sibling without drama. My brother from another mother (don’t want to leave the guys out, but brostar just doesn’t sound the same). 💜💜💜

Or, if you’re a mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ No explanation needed.

Empaths are highly sensitive individuals, who have a keen ability to sense what people around them are thinking and feeling. Psychologists may use the term empath to describe a person that experiences a great deal of empathy, often to the point of taking on the pain of others at their own expense.

In our world, empaths are super cool humans that feel way too much! It’s our Super Power! When our loved ones feel pain, we sense it and call them. They feel anxious, we feel anxious- they have a headache, we feel it.

I was getting ready to go out the other night. I felt that my friend was hungry (she works a double shift). I text her, “Are you hungry? I have manicotti, I’ll bring it on my way to the gym.” She said, “Yes, I just brought a wilty salad, please bring manicotti! lol.  Wow! She was sooooo happy!

How does this happen? Because when we’re tuned in to people, we just know what they need. Isn’t that fantastic? Yes and no. It can be intriguing or it can be overwhelming.

We’re all born with this gift. Unfortunately, our gift gets watered down over the years by parents, teachers or ourselves feeling like outcasts. It’s still in there Love, if you want to access it.

I wanted to write a great deal more about this topic, but I’d rather just throw it out there and wait for your comments.
