This message indicates that you’re especially sensitive to energies and emotions right now. Archangel Michael is shielding you from harsh energy, but it’s also important for you to take action steps to help with this endeavor. For example, avoid situations where anger and/or competition are expressed. And stay away from bars, pubs or other places where chemicals are abused, which can attract lower energies. Follow your natural inclinations, such as keeping to yourself or spending time with soft-spoken gentle people.

Archangel Michael, I ask you to protect me, my loved ones, my vehicle, and my home with your powerful shield. Surround us in your purple light, which allows only pure love to penetrate. Please stay with me day and night, and keep my loved ones safe.
Protection Crystals can be worn or carried. I usually wear a protection bracelet, which I adore. It broke in December as I was unpacking for a much anticipated holiday. I was wearing 3 other bracelets at the time so I know it didn’t catch on anything. 2017 was a challenging year for me and I viewed this as a sign that my crystals had done their job. They absorbed a lot of negative energy and were in need of rejuvenation. I scooped them up, thanked them and put them in a little gem sack. I sent them off to be restrung and re-intentioned when I arrived home.
I also carry several stones in a pouch. Some of the more popular protections stones are:
Black Obsidian helps shield your aura from negative energy and is a powerful cleanser. 
Black Tourmaline repels negative energy and helps keep you grounded. It also transmutes dense energy into a lighter vibration.
Smokey Quartz is a great stone for detoxification on all levels. It’s also used for grounding and gently assists those dealing with body image issues.

Labradorite shields and protects the aura by creating an energy barrier. It’s a stone that grounds and holds personal energy in and provides protection from people who wish to drain you. Another term for this is psychic vampires. We all have them in our lives.

Of course, you can always set an intention as well. I learned this one from Jennifer Hoffman and say it every morning.
Everyone in my life loves honors and respects me and everything in my life is a source of love, peace and joy.
A word of caution though, if you use this intention regularly you may notice people slipping away that don’t align with your new perspective. Be prepared for change and embrace the space it will allow for those that truly love, honor and respect you to enter your life.
